David R. Kennedy founded the firm in 1989 after a first career in banking, where he managed a Firestone Bank branch in Akron. He began law school at night in 1982, finished his degree in December 1985, and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in April 1986.
He founded Ohio Fidelity Title Agency and serves as its General Counsel and a licensed Ohio title insurance agent. In 1998 he launched the firm’s Life-Law Legal Services program, which directs a portion of the firm’s personal-injury fees to churches and charities chosen by clients.
Today David leads the firm’s estate planning, probate, real estate, and business practice. He is now semi-retired and is typically in the office Tuesday through Thursday.
