Christy Collins joined the firm after graduating fourth in her class at the University of Akron School of Law, and advanced to partnership in 2017 — when the firm took the name Kennedy & Collins Co., LPA.
Her practice centers on elder law and Medicaid planning: helping families qualify for long-term care benefits while protecting what they have built. She also handles estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianships, adoptions, and income and estate tax matters.
Earlier in her career she gained broad experience in civil litigation, domestic relations, bankruptcy, and tax preparation — perspective she now brings to families facing the legal side of aging.
